July 20,2021. On behalf of the group, Charles Bruner wrote about the imperative that investments in the helping community be recognized as a core part of Iowa's infrastructure, economy and prosperity.

Iowa Department of Human Services' Proposal to Expand Home and Community-Based Services

One July 12, 2021, Iowa DHS submitted its plan to CMS for use of  $221 million in increased Home and Community-Based Services funds under Medicaid from the American Rescue Plan.

Feedback to Iowa DHS on Using Additional Federal HCBS Funds

July 7, 2021. On behalf of the group, Charles Bruner provided written testimony to the Iowa Department of Human Services request for feedback on the state using home and community-based service funding from the American Rescue Plan Act.

Des Moines Register Guest Opinion on Economics of Helping

June 17, 2021. Peter Fisher from  Common Good Iowa wrote about the economic value for investing in child care and financing that with closing tax loopholes.
